We are missionaries with Steiger International, a missions organization dedicated to reaching and discipling the Global Youth Culture for Jesus. Our focus is showing people how to follow Jesus. The tools we use for helping people grow are through intentional relationships, community living, teaching, mentoring, preaching, and leadership development. Jesus spent significant time with his disciples, teaching and modeling for them what it means to participate in the kingdom of God. We strive to do the same!
We have worked as missionaries with Steiger International since 2004. Our vision has been to disciple young people and develop local leaders as God takes us around the world. In 2006 we started an annual 3-month Discipleship School, SHIFT, in Minneapolis, MN. We did this for 4 years. During that time we also preached and taught at a local church that partnered with Steiger. In 2011 God called us to move to a new work: serving with the Steiger International Center in Germany. After a year in England, where Noah studied for his Masters Degree in Leadership with Missions, we headed to Germany in 2013. From there, in the beautiful village of Krögis, we have helped to organize, lead, and teach at the Steiger Missions School through 2016.
After a furlough in the United States, we will be moving to Tauranga, New Zealand to join the local Steiger work. We will work with the team to actively share the Gospel in creative ways with backpackers and local young people.
